somehow last night i got my sister agreeing to model for me!

so, this morning we got 30 balloons and headed to the hills.

skydeck

at the beginning of this month, the sears tower opened up the new skydeck. i have decided that it will be the perfect opportunity for me to face my fear of heights. since i refuse to go skydiving. anywhow, the main attraction of the new deck are these glass pods that plunge outside of the usual building space. and they do remind me of the glass elevator in charlie in the chocolate factory.

today i did something that scares me, because apparently it is only right to "do something every day that scares you" (eleanor roosevelt). and i do typically agree with what eleanor says. not to mention my current book said the same thing. so between the two reliable sources, i am almost convinced of this "every day" method. but i find myself resisting as the world around me slowly intimidates me more. maybe i can revert back to fearlessness via the eleanor practice?

i'll consider retrying cheeseits.

pink hair part II

oh, and this is my new best friend. he is a seal and his name is roger. roger followed me today. when i stood up, he stood up. when i slept, he slept.

today i got pink hair!

daddy will not be too excited about this. in the event that he actually notices that i have pink hair, he will be lead to believe that i spontaneously "went to target and got temporary dye. it should be gone in a week or two."
